Antoinette Tuff for The Presidential Medal of Freedom

The Million Hoodies Movement for Justice - a multiracial alliance of concerned citizens, civil society organizations, and community leaders - hereby nominates Antoinette Tuff for The Presidential Medal of Freedom.

On August 20th 2013 Antoinette Tuff performed exemplary services for her country, fellow citizens, and the safety of America's children, thereby saving countless lives. She is the very embodiment of the strength and intelligence of the African-American woman in particular, and the power of the human spirit in general.

We call on Congress and President Obama to award her the Presidential Medal of Freedom, thereby adding her name to the list of great Americans and human beings who have made "an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors."
