Laws protecting corporations going through bankruptcy need to be written to protect those who patronize them and are injured in the process.
Why is this important?
A&P Supermarkets just emerged from bankruptcy. Anyone injured in their stores is being offered five cents on the dollar, a figure which doesn't even pay the medical bills. I am injured for life and facing expensive stem cell treatment, which is not covered by insurance. Thousands of people are in my position.
