Appeal for UN election observers to oversee the United States elections of 2016

We, the people of these United States, have recently come to have grave doubts about the integrity of our electoral process. We humbly beg the General Assembly of the United Nations to send observers to closely oversee our 2016 elections, and especially to examine the policies, apparatus, and other processes involved at all levels in order to ensure that every citizen has the opportunity to vote and every vote is counted.

Why is this important?

At every election tensions increase and accusations of fraud abound. The possibility that at some point in the near future this mistrust will erupt into violence appears more likely than ever during this cycle. To alleviate this, and to ensure that our nation's government remains one that is of the people, by the people, and especially for the people, we need reassurance that every citizen has the opportunity to vote and that every vote is counted.

Reasons for signing

  • What other countries have "electoral college"? What about "gerrymandering"?
  • We are at risk of rigged elections now and in the future. Please get involved- our democratic process is at stake!
  • Because of the many questions surrounding this election. The big question being HRC winning the national popular vote by 2.5+ million votes yet losing the number of electors. Then there's the questions of the election being rigged by Trump, questionable vote counting for Trump, and Russia's possible role or at least influence in the election. a full national audit is necessary to ensure a fair election took place.
