Trump has fired the top cop responsible for the investigation into potential ties between Russia and the Trump Administration. This compromises the current investigation so now, we need to appoint an independent investigative committee and non-partisan special prosecutor free from political interference to get to the bottom of all of the allegations being made.
Why is this important?
Trump's credibility is on the line and trust for our president is now eroding. He told the public that he supported James Comey, the FBI Director, but then without warning, fired him. How can we trust that our President is a man of his word when it changes on a daily basis? If someone close to Trump appoints an investigator, we may never get to the truth and that's why we need an independent investigation to begin now!
