Archbishop Vigneron: Support the Church in Detroit

Because parishoners of churches in Detroit worship as family and carry out the Church's mission in their neighborhoods, I urge Archbishop Vigneron to embrace the Churches in Detroit, using the spiritual and financial resources available to him as the good shepherd of the Archdiocese in keeping them open, not closing them.

Why is this important?

Using a process that was seriously flawed, recommendations to close or merge a number of Catholic Parishes in and around the City of Detroit were made to Archbishop Allen Vigneron. The Archbishop will make the final decision on the recommendations. We are calling on Archbishop Vigneron to to save, not close or merge these Churches.
