Aren't we as Good as Mexico?
When will Walmart begin to pay American sites the kind of money they're paying in Mexico? Don't we count? They could even make legal contributions to Zoning Commissions and the cities and towns they represent, but - are we cutting off noses to save their faces?
Why is this important?
Walmart is now implicated in a $24,000,000 bribery network to purchase site approvals in Mexico. One may argue that such approvals are "traditional" or "immoral," illegal or corrupting, but, IN ANY CASE, they are more than they're paying in America for the same kind of access. Shouldn't they pay us as much as they pay in Mexico? We, after all, have a lot more money!
