I believe tougher penalties should be put in place for obvious Animal cruelty cases. There have been an overwhelming amount of cases lately due to the fact that the law does not allow for appropriate punishment of guilty parties. Two dogs lost their lives and the guilty party was found guilty but his sentence will not get the proper punishment due to current laws.
