Arizona Needs A Good Samaritan 911 Law

Deaths per year from drug overdoses have surpassed the number of deaths from automobile accidents. The Good Samaritan 911 Law would allow an individual to call for help for an overdose victim without fear of being charged with a minor drug and/or paraphernalia possession.

Why is this important?

The United States is currently in a full blown prescription drug and heroin epidemic and Arizona has the 6th highest number of deaths. Arizona needs to step up its efforts to save lives by putting in place laws that encourage calling 911 for a quick response by emergency responders.
