To: Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon
Ask Amazon to publicly drop Atlanta
Due to recent actions by the Georgia Legislature, I'm asking Amazon to publicly state that they are dropping Atlanta from their list of potential Headquarters 2. Make a statement that when a legislature specifically targets one company, they target all companies. Legislatures should do the will of the people, not the NRA or any other lobby group, especially in a retaliatory way.
Why is this important?
I believe that accusing a company of challenging conservative principles when in actuality they are doing what is best for their business is awful. The Georgia Republican party is attempting to hold corporations hostage for the ransom of promoting the agenda of a lobby group. Regardless of your political affiliation, government was never intended to be used as a weapon for lobby groups
