Congressional Hearing Into USEPA Region 4's Activities At The CTS of Asheville Inc Superfund Site-
We, the undersigned, call for Congressional Hearings with the appropriate House Committee and Subcommittees to investigate the mishandling of the toxic disaster at the CTS of Asheville Superfund Site and investigate the role that USEPA Region 4 officials have played in the disaster by engaging in alleged illegal activities that include, but are not limited to the following: Federal CERCLA law violations, Violating Victims' 4th and 14th Amendment Rights, Misappropriation of Public Funds, Tampering With Federal Record, Withholding Public Records, Fraud With Falsifying a Hazardous Incident with the US Coast Guard National Response Center to create a fake CERCLA site to conceal the activities by EPA Region 4 at the preexisting CTS of Asheville Inc CERCLA site, and Conspiracy to Commit Fraud by maintaining two separate CERCLA sites for the same source of contamination for 11 years.
We call on our federal officials to act with Congressional Investigations for the environmental justice of the South Asheville community and all the communities contained with EPA Region 4's eight southern states.
We call for Congressional Investigations to hold public officials accountable for the liability they created by failing to protect the health of the victims at the CTS site area and defrauding homeowners on the $30,000.000.00 Southside Village Community, built on the CTS of Asheville Toxic Superfund with EPA Region 4's duplicity.
We demand a better use of public funds and we call for Congressional Hearings to account for the entire spending of the public's funds at the CTS of Asheville Inc. Superfund Site.
And finally, we support and call for fulfilling Senator Richard Burr's unprecedented recommendation that USEPA replace EPA Region 4 officials on the CTS of Asheville site with officials from a separate EPA Region with no prior connection to CTS of Asheville so that the proper and timely response to cleanup the source of the perpetual groundwater, surface water, air and sediment contamination unfolding everyday in Asheville, NC.

Why is this important?
$8,573,115.97 of taxpayer funds was used to conceal EPA Region 4's mistakes and alleged illegal activity. 50 people have been diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma alone within 1 mile of CTS of Asheville Superfund Site. Neighbors abused, deceived and harmed by EPA Region 4 officials' response. Community Advisory Group has collected evidence to support federal charges to be filed against EPA Region 4 officials for creating a fake CERCLA site by submitting a falsified Hazardous Incident Report to the US Coast Guard National Response Center to expedite the creation of a CERCLA designation for the victims' property for a the contamination emanating from a preexisting the CTS of Asheville CERCLA site. EPA Region 4 has failed to protect human health and the environment in an effort to save careers and shield the agency from the embarrassing attention that would come from the original mismanagement. Call Congressman Meadows, Congressman McHenry, Senator Burr and Senator Hagan today and ask for the Congressional Investigations to hold the agency accountable and protect other communities from this type of systematic and systemic abuse.
