The Indiana Legislature must hold hearings on the scope of gun violence in Indiana, its relationship to mental illness, and steps to curb this plague on our state.
Why is this important?
Our petition is in support of a resolution to be presented to the Indiana Legislature by Representative Delaney calling for a study of gun violence in Indiana to determine steps that can be taken to curb it. In 2009, more Hoosiers were killed by firearms than by motor vehicles.
