Ask President Obama to change $250k tax limit to $400k.
Change the $250,000 tax limit for couples to a financially equal $400,000 which which is non-gender discriminatory, and does not discourage marrying those of like intellectual and financial assets.
Why is this important?
The President has set a limit for increasing taxes on any single person at $200,000, but has set the limit at $250,000 for couples. This is a sexist policy because it assumes one spouse to be making 25% of the other. It also tacitly discourages successful individuals from marry financially and intellectually equal spouses.
A policy that would treat both spouses equally would set the limit of $200,000 for each spouse. Tell the President that this inequality should be corrected.
