Audiobook lovers unite to urge Mr. Webb to reverse the decision to end the RB digital service at the Lexington Public Library in Lexington, KY. The proposed replacement, Overdrive, has only 393 titles available whereas RB digital has over 6,250 titles available to users.
Why is this important?
I listen to audio books every day because my poor vision makes reading regular books challenging. Our library is making the wrong decision to end the RB digital audiobook service in favor of the Overdrive audiobook service. The RB digital service has over 6,252 titles to choose from whereas this new service has only 393 titles. I know that many audiobook lovers such as myself will be negatively affected by this change and the library needs to reverse its decision.
