Auto insurance that makes you see Red once a month

Many people are away from there cars for many different reasons and only infrequently use there auto's with low monthly mileages. They are forced by the industry to pay a full monthly premium. Retired people and many industry's require people to be away from there cars for 1-2-3 or more weeks at a time and they still have to pay by the month. with today's technology it would be easy for a pay by mileage by paying your insurance at a gas station when you buy gas, your info and the mileage (MPG) your car gets determines your insurance payment. people need to have a option like this. OR you could go on paying for a service you only use infrequently.
