Automatic Refinance
Please support President Obama's proposal that any person current on their mortgage for the last six months and with a credit score of 580 or better be able to refinance at the lower rates automatically. The refinance will be automatic, based on payment history, without consideration of income or other criteria that may have changed since the loan origination.
Why is this important?
"To help the economy get more of a boost from low interest rates, Obama proposed that almost anyone who has a credit score above 580 and has been paying his or her monthly mortgage bill on time for the past six months be able to refinance. It wouldn’t matter under Obama’s proposal whether borrowers had government-backed mortgages or loans owned by banks and other private investments" It is time that the average person be helped and people who are paying their mortgages be able to refinance automatically at the new rates.
