Ban automatic weapons in the sate of Colorado.
Why is this important?
Automatic and semi-automatice weapons were created for combat. They were created for the purpose of killing as many people as possible in the shortest ammount of time. There is no place for them outside of war. They are not needed for hunting. They are not needed for self defense in your home. They are being used in massacres across the country because they can be very easily acquired. Imagine a 5 year old sitting in a classroom trying to learn to read and instead being blown to pieces with an assault rifle. And then sign this petition. One week from today I will send it to Gov. Hickenlooper. We have to start somewhere.
