Every time a presidential primary or general election vote is cast, voters should get a tracking receipt or number so that they can personally check online or through an automated voice telephone system that somehow their vote hasn't been lost or somehow misdirected to another candidate.
Impossible, you say? How about the IRS? How about the DMV? How about the Postal Service? Are our tax returns, driver license/ID information, medical records or even a piece of mail more important than our vote? That information is all tracked in the IT world.
The one item guaranteed us in the Constitution is given lower priority! Let's stop accepting this shadowy process of voting and bring it out into the light of day.
Why is this important?
There are and have been too many questionable election results, and we need to put in place checks and balances to stop cheating instances such as what happened in New York.
