ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
People can have their guns, but there isn't ANYONE other than special-ops military personnel who should have the right to an assault weapon. The #1 aim of an assault weapon is to kill large amounts of "objects" in quick succession. Since the ban expired in 2004, those "objects" just happen to be our children and other innocent bystanders.
Why is this important?
It's obvious why I'm starting this petition... assault weapons have no place in regular society. I'm tired of fearing for my children's lives when they go off to elementary and middle school each day!! How sickening is it that this is a REAL WORRY that we have to face in the United States ?!?!?! What has happened to this country? Where is the common sense?
