Return the ban on assault weapons nationwide and enact strict background and mental health checks which can be shared with all law enforcement agencies.
Why is this important?
I want the public to demand a return to sanity in our gun control laws. Most Americans are in favor of a ban on assault weapons since they cannot legitimately be used for any normal hunting purpose. They are military weapons and should be restricted to use by the military. I want to expose the fact that the NRA is a bunch of weapons dealers.
