Ban corporate spending on elections

CT has seen unprecedented spending by corporations in an attempt to influence elections. Corporate spending during election time needs to be banned or at the least require a shareholder resolution for every expenditure,

Why is this important?

Corporate spending to influence elections needs to be checked. If we cannot outlaw it we need to require a shareholders vote authorizing every political expense by shareholders.
