Dear Governor, we urge you to ban fracking in all of New York State, now. We are counting on you, as our elected official to protect our health, our water, our air, our food, our environment from the fracking process & all it entails.
Why is this important?
Hydrolic fracturing, or fracking, by the gas industry, is trying to make a foothold in New York State. The process they use to extract gas from shale, deep in the earth's surface is extremely volitile, never proven safe, & effects all of us through our drinking water, food, & the air we breath. Governor Cuomo has the power to ban fracking in the entire state.
