Ban GMO s in the United States. Label GMO s

Chemical companies are patenting untested Genetically Modified Organisms in the form of seeds. They are trying to gain a monopoly on our food supply with potentially harmful products. These companies would then control our health and also our behaviors. Recent testing has shown GMOs to form large tumors throughout the bodies of test animals. These companies have already gotten approval for many other harmful chemicals already in our foods. These companies are major developers of pesticides. Most other countries are at a minimum requiring that GMO s be labeled. Some are banning these products for at least the next ten years. Protect our health and ban GMOs in the US. The companies with products that are currently on grocery store food shelves should be labeled GMO immediately. The American people have the right to know what is in their food. Certified organic foods should not be allowed to contain GMO. We should not be placing the health of our citizens in the hands of "for profit companies. We ask the govenrnment to ban these products and take back control of our food supply now and protect all Americans.
