Ban Horse Tripping competitions in Oregon Rodeos and Events

Jordan Valley Big Loop Rodeo in southeastern Oregon in May highlights the cruelty of horse tripping events at rodeos and the necessity for a complete ban in the state of Oregon. Other states have banned Horse Tripping Events,
The event is blatant animal cruelty and can cause a host of injuries to horses who are chased in "fear" and having their legs ripped out from under them by cowboys with their ropes. Crashing them violently to the ground. They suffer for a man's sport with rope burns; internal injuries; broken bones; broken necks; and death.
Oregon had the chance to pass legislation last year (2012) that would have banned this cruel practice. Please sign the petition urging Oregon's legislature to reintroduce and support legislation banning horse tripping throughout the state.

Why is this important?
