Lawyers should be banned from making laws.
It is self-serving ("a conflict of interest") to create laws that require a lawyer to explain it to regular people.
Lawyers are officers of the Judiciary and Constitutionally forbidden from serving in the Executive or Legislative branches of Government.
Why is this important?
Lawyers making Laws only Lawyers can interpret is a "conflict of interest" and violates our Constitution.
According to the American Bar Association, Lawyers must recuse themselves from cases with a "conflict of interest".
