Ban Plastic Bags

On October 1st our BOR will vote on whether or not to ban plastic bags in Stamford markets. I understand from many of the reps that they will vote no to the ban because they believe we don't want it!!
I am so shocked by this and you should be too.

People... I know it takes a little more effort to bring your own bag or pay a few pennies for a paper bag, but if we can't do it, who can?
We live in the richest country and the richest county in the world.
If we can't be the change we want to see in the world, the world is lost.

Please sign this petition and say to our BOR that we care about our neighborhood and the planet. please sign and promote this on social media; we have very little time to be heard.

Don't just say you care about the planet. Do something about it...please.
