These plastic bags are littering our beautiful mountains. Affected is our rivers, The New and others. These plastic bags end up harming our wildlife. The Blue Ridge Parkway is also affected by these plastic bags. They harm birds, fish, and more wildlife than I can write here.
Why is this important?
I am constantly picking up these bags from ditches, out of rivers and on the Blue Ridge Parkway. If people can’t stop themselves from littering them then they don’t need to be given them in our stores here.
