Ban Soda in Schools!

Smoking is banned in schools, and teachers are not allowed to smoke on school grounds. Yet despite overwhelming evidence regarding the adverse health effects of sodas, both diet and non-diet, both teachers and students bring them into schools. Moreover, teachers drinking soda in front of students sends a message that drinking such drinks is an acceptable practice. The fight against obesity and for healthy bodies and a healthy environment begins with banning soda from New York schools.
