Ban the Blowers

Leaf blowers pollute more that they clean. Take back your rake. Use your leaves to mulch your vegetables. Put school kids to work. Get to know your neighbor. Don't wake up the babies. And don't add more toxic waste to the air we breathe. And what about the sounds of nature ? Not with a blower attacking your ears....Imagine how the animals feel? Ban the Blowers. In many communities they are banned, like in Ojai and Santa Monica, but no body knows or enforces this ban. The first step: apply pressure, let the leaf blowers know you disapprove, and if you are a home owner, please rake your own leaves or pay them extra to rake or add it to your child' list of chores or pay a neighbor's kid. Lets bring back the Shangri La. It all starts at home!
