Please support and pass legislation to prevent the slaughter of horses and transport to any and all slaughter facilities, both domestic and international. This matter needs to be dealt with humanely, and that does not happen in any slaughter house.
Why is this important?
Aside from the inhumane slaughter America's horses have suffered in our past slaughter houses that are thought by many to have been "humane", slaughter houses are costly to tax payers and do not generate taxes, as most are foreign-owned. The way to deal with the excess of horses is not to brutally slaughter them.
