Ban use of neonics, glyphosates, RoundUp and others like it in all of Oregon
Ban the use of neonics, glyphosates like RoundUp, and other poisons similar to it in all of Oregon. Save the pollinators along with the rest of our bug and bird community.
Why is this important?
We need to ban the use of this poison.
I have an organic garden and Certified Wildlife Habitat and have been seeing the dying of bees on my flowers. Organic growing needs protection from the pesticide, herbicide, and other poisons people use on their lawns and driveways. Living near a watershed, the Willamette River and other waterways, I see the need to protect the land and water from glyphosates, neonics.
Please consider the wildlife and stop the spraying. Just a couple of weeks ago, the county sprayed along the Trolley Trail in Milwaukie, Oregon, killing the foliage all along a trail frequented by hikers, dogs, children, and the people who live along that trail. This is inconsiderate poisoning of the environment without permission to do so.
