Hold the banks accountable. Make them pay for their fair share of the maintenance costs for the mortgages they possess.
Why is this important?
The banks own our properties and contracted a lease to own arrangement with us that gives them unconscionable revenue from the interest we pay for the privilege of maintaining these properties for them. The banks should be held accountable for these no-risk loans and be made to pay their fair share based on the percentage of the property that they own. If they own all of the property and the property has no equity then they should pay all of the maintenance costs based on the fact that they are the sole owner and that the said property owner has no equity to borrow on.
