Why is this important?
As a Realtor, I have four (4) clients in the unfortunate position of chosing to short-sale their homes after attempts at modification failed. BOA offers this option to their clients but, makes the process so daunting with delay after delay and requesting the same information over & over & over again that the properties end-up in foreclosure anyway. After several months of the madness, one client lost the fight even though we had an offer to purchase about 3-weeks before the scheduled foreclosure. And now, after EIGHT (8) months it seems another client is about to be pushed to the same end; this time, we have FOUR offers to purchase. At this rate, there's almost no hope for the other clients.
