Time for Banks to Bailout the People!

We ask that the Federal Government implement a plan to freeze all personal and business loan, credit card and mortgage payments so that NO interest is charged by creditors during this National Emergency. These policies will be applied and back dated to begin March 13th, 2020 when President Trump declared a National Emergency and ending when this emergency officially concludes. We hope this legislation will be passed as soon as possible as it will bring great relief to the American people. No interest or penalties should be charged during this period and it should be written in to law that all lending companies and institutions, banks and credit card companies will have to comply or face major penalties.

The only people working right now are essential workers putting their lives on the line for the rest of us, so this would be like a bonus to them to pay them back for their service and help them save a bit of money for the future.

These emergency relief policies should be automatically implemented retroactively across the whole country with no application necessary. Of course, those wishing to make their payments during this time should be allowed to do so with no penalties.

Along with this, it should be illegal for landlords to charge rent, raise rental fees or evict as they are not paying their mortgages during this time.

Not only would these policies help out the American people, they would also help to bring the economy back quicker so in at least one sense we could “pickup where we left off” without the burden of gathering interest.

The banks were bailed out by the American taxpayers back in 2008, now it’s their turn to bailout the American People.
