WE, THE UNDERSIGNED CITIZENS OF SANTA FE, ARE ASKING THAT OUR U.S. SENATORS, TOM UDALL AND JEFF BINGAMAN, SPONSOR/CO-SPONSOR A BILL THAT BANS THE PURCHASE BY INDIVIDUAL CITIZENS OF WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION, SUCH AS SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLES, SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOLS, AND SEMI-AUTOMATIC SHOT-GUNS.
Why is this important?
The U.S. has the largest number of mass deaths by individual rogue murderers in the western world. It is morally unconscionable for this nation to allow these weapons of mass destruction, which have most recently taken the lives of 20 elementary school children and 7 teachers.
