In Oregon, Eugene, Portland, and Canon Beach have all recently passed a resolution restricting the use of neonicotinoid insecticides—which have been shown to contribute to declining bee and other pollinator populations. For bees to fully recover, we need to stand up for pollinator health and make all public property bee-friendly. I am asking Oregon state lawmakers to restrict the use of bee-killing pesticides on all government-owned property.
Why is this important?
If there's hardly anything left to pollinate anything, we're going to have another big ol' fun dust bowl, friends.
