BES Homeroom Petition
We are asking Upper Merion Schools to commit to providing Bridgeport with a minimum of three homeroom teachers per grade level for the 2026-2027 school year.
Why is this important?
We received the Superintendent’s response. It basically explains what happened this year, but doesn’t actually say how they’re going to fix it for next year.
Our kids were in classes of 28.
Backpacks in the hallway.
Kids feeling overwhelmed and not getting what they need.
We’re not asking them to fix this year.
We’re asking for one simple thing:
Plan for one additional teacher next year.
If we don’t push for it now, this happens again.
