Why is this important?
Pay Day Lending lobbyists are swarming the PA Senate trying to get HB 2191 fast-tracked and to Gov. Corbett's desk. We need to fight back now to let them know we are watching.
HB 2191 would allow predatory lending (Pay Day lending) into PA with interest rates of 300% and higher. Pay Day loans hurt the people desperate enough to need them AND the rest of us by siphoning hundreds of millions of dollars out of PA's economy - money lost to exorbitant interest rates and fees.
