Please immediately enact a straightforward bill simply addressing extending tax cuts for 98% of Americans, to heal the country and to soothe the economy. Both parties will still have plenty of leverage on the issue of taxes for the wealthiest in the future, during negotiations for sequestration and the debt ceiling. Start this post-election period by showing Americans real leadership.
