Bob Brust: Resign from the Smith & Wesson Board of Directors
Bob Brust is on the board of directors of American Outdoor Brands, the parent company of Smith & Wesson, which makes AR-15 style rifles including the one used to kill 17 people at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida on February 14th, 2018. Mr. Brust, we urge you to please resign from the American Outdoor Brands board!
Why is this important?
Bob Brust is a member of the Nantucket community and joined the Board of Directors of American Outdoor Brands, parent company of Smith & Wesson in July 2011. He previously served as CFO of Sprint Nextel, CFO of Eastman Kodak, and as a trustee for the Nantucket Cottage Hospital, an affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital. He is an alum of Penn State University. As members of these communities, and the greater public, we urge you to end your association with a company that profits from making and selling the AR-15 style rifles used in mass shootings across America!
