Ft.Lauderdale, Fla. has enacted a series of ordinances aimed at driving homeless people out of the town and depriving them of their freedom, property and, now, their food and nutrition. The latest law effectively prohibits individuals and organizations from feeding the homeless.
We urge all travelers to boycott the City of Ft.Lauderdale as a vacation and tourist destination until these ordinances are repealed.
Why is this important?
As an American, I am offended by the war on the poor being waged by this municipality. Only by threatening its lifeblood (tourism)will they halt and reverse this barbarous policy.
