Boycott NBC's coverage of Winter Olympics
I love watching Olympic completion as much as anyone, but NBC has paid 750 million dollars to the Russian Olympic Organizing Committee for the rights to broadcast these games. Given Russia's official position towards my gay, lesbian and trans- gender brothers and sisters , I am going to boycott these games, and I hope you will join with me in this effort. After all, how different is this from the 1936 Olympic Games on Berlin?
Why is this important?
I believe that not supporting the gay, lesbian, trans-gender population in their struggle for equality would be wrong. Russia's governmental policy on this issue is WRONG !
