The people of NY will leave the management and control of NY State's big game, small game, game bird and varmint populations to the State alone.
Hunters should sit out each NY State hunting season until Cuomo's new law is repealed and replaced with a more logical, more effective and more important one based on research, testing, and input from those most affected.
Why is this important?
The State of NY has turned law-abiding gun owners into criminals with the stroke of a pen. Governor Cuomo has shown disrespect for the role lawful gun owners play in maintaining State resources by waiving the mandatory 3-day discussion period of any proposed law. We need to strike back in a lawful, effective manner.
