The petition is a warning to any politician who considers funding their campaign using SuperPAC, Corporate or Special Interest money. I will only support politicians who represent the interests of their constituents. Taking money from other sources (than constituents) fundamentally is bribery (even though they call it lobbying) I am sure the founding fathers did not intend that our election system could be bought.
Why is this important?
Our entire representative government is being corrupted by SuperPAC, Corporate or Special Interest money at the expense of our citizens. Its time to put an end to it.
