Governor Bill Haslam signed a proclamation to celebrate the birthday of Nathan Beford Forrest, the first Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan and one of its founders. In light of all that is going on today, this is NOT the attitude we will tolerate any longer. If he does not rescind this proclamation, we must boycott Tennessee and vote Gov. Haslam OUT of office!
Why is this important?
It's time to stop shining a light on Confederate icon or traitors. The flag is down. It's time to shake loose the last vestiges of the things that continue to divide us. The KKK was and is a domestic terrorist organization. They do not deserve state-sponsored recognition.
