Why is this important?
Donald Trump fired his Attorney General, and will likely attempt to replace him with someone who'll put loyalty to the White House over the duties of their office. And that could mean a premature end to Mueller’s investigation, with the full results never shared with the American people.
The American people must demand that anyone who replaces Sessions atop the Department of Justice pledge their complete independence from Trump -- and promise to carry out the responsibilities of their office fairly and impartially.
