Bring back FREE COVID-19 testing and vaccines
As of August 2024, new COVID-19 vaccines have been approved to target the latest strains of the virus. But while a summer surge infects people nationwide, the program that has so far guaranteed free COVID vaccines to uninsured and underinsured adults is coming to an end—leaving millions of uninsured Americans left to pay out of pocket for vital preventative care.

Why is this important?
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Bridge Access Program is set to expire in August, four months earlier than the original deadline of December 2024. Since 2020, the CDC has administered this program to bring lifesaving free COVID-19 vaccines to Americans who are uninsured or whose insurance does not cover all vaccine-related costs.
President Biden must expand comprehensive COVID-19 support—from funding the Bridge Access Program to providing accessible PCR and rapid tests to increasing public advocacy campaigns that educate Americans on the importance of vaccinations.
