Dear NYSERDA, please bring back the Solar Thermal Rebate Program. It is not possible to meet the NY 2030 Renewable Energy Goals unless all technologies are supported, including Solar Thermal.
Why is this important?
It is not possible to meet the NY 2030 Renewable Energy Goals unless all technologies are supported, including Solar Thermal. However, NY is leaning now towards supporting primarily just Heat Pump technology to meet the renewable thermal targets of the current program. NY must not incentivize just one of many green technologies in the attempt to meet the 2030 goals.
