Bring back the Fairness Doctrine

Bringing back the Fairness Doctrine would reinstate serving the public's interest in the education and understanding of political positions and their pros and cons of each side of the story. Without this law, we have seen the deliberate abuse and ruiness of our political election process.

Why is this important?

Since Reagan repealed the Fairness Doctrine in the mid 1980's, our airwaves have been chocked full of lies, deliberate misrepresentations and slander. Presented in a format imitating real news, it suggest these misleading comments are true and unbiased. It has created a dangerous arena for balanced political equality. It is time to reinstate this law and get back to serving the public's interest.
