To: President Donald Trump and Eric Schneiderman, New York Attorney General

Bring Criminal Fraud Charges Against Donald Trump

On November 18th, 2016, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, in a statement made about the $25 million settlement reached in the class action suit against the fraudulent "Trump University," said that President-elect Donald Trump is guilty of "violating state education laws." Since the "Trump University" scheme was a national organization that operated in several states (California and Florida in addition to New York), the United States Attorney General's office should have every right to pursue criminal fraud charges against its proprietor, along with the New York Attorney General's office.

The purpose of this petition is to urge the U.S. Attorney General and New York Attorney General to pursue criminal fraud charges against Donald Trump in this matter.

Why is this important?

I fear for our country and its democratic institutions if a known criminal who has committed fraud is permitted to assume the highest office in our government without in any substantial way being held accountable.
