bring home our Chromebooks

To the board of education,
When I found out the distance learning plan for Ithaca Schools I was upset. Rather than let us use Chromebooks, instead you are giving us paper copies and some directions. I would like to bring home chrome books because if you give us paper and some directions that is not direct teaching. Directions are not teaching and if we brought our chrome book home we could use zoom, google classroom, and google hangouts. If you really need we can use Gmaill. All of these can be used to teach. You can use them at home and at school if you just are depending on us to understand the directions and get on with the work without a teacher's help then you're wrong.
I think we should be able to bring home our chrome books from school because the teachers can help us. As for an idea on how we can get our chrome books home you could put them on a school bus and drive them to every house, or you could fedex them. There are many different ways to get the Chrome books to the students. So many other schools have figured it out so why can't we? Maybe not everybody has WiFi, maybe you can contact the local internet providers to see if they can help during this time we are out of school. Everybody has the right to be educated and I think that should be done the right way. If you are worried about cheating, do a scan around the room, no electronics in the rooms, no parents just you and the computer and I suggest Go-Guardian . The teachers can see what you're doing and close tabs, lock chrome books. I think this is a lot of help. So many students struggle with math and ELA. chromebooks are just one of those things they need for support
Thank you for reading my letter I hope you put this into consideration. Chromebooks help us learn, and we have learned to use them. I hope you understand how this could change a lot in our education when we are not at school.
Sincerely
